Monday, November 16-Celebrating 40 Years of Geography at NAU!!
Speaker: Dr. Tina Kennedy, Professor of Geography. Topic: “Re-Presenting” Northern India” from Dr. Kennedy’s sabbatical. 4:00 reception, 4:30-5:30 presentation. Room 204. Light refreshments will be provided.
Tuesday, November 17—6:30 PM SBS West Room 200
Movie night! We will watch “The Risen Sun” -a kayaking film. Raffle tickets will be drawn for GPR prizes! Don’t miss out on the chance to win these fabulous goodies! Free popcorn and soda! Sponsored by the PRM Club.
Wednesday, November 18 It’s GIS Day today! Celebrate Geographic Information Systems!

GPR awards brunch. Join us for the announcement of the geography trivia contest winners! Giveaways and raffles. Location: the GPR foyer outside Room 201, (SBS West) Building 70.
Extra, Extra!!! Learn all about it! Test your geography knowledge and take our Geography Trivia Quiz, which can be found on our website at www.geog.nau.edu. Submit it by noon on Wednesday 11/18. Prizes will be awarded for the high scores! Winners will be notified and prizes will be awarded at the Geography Awards Celebration Brunch on Friday 11/20.
